Blog Description
This is a site where you can post graphics created by using celebrity names that have a common meaning in the English language beyond just being the person's name. These meanings might be objects, actions, trades or occupations etc. The idea is to use a play on these words to create a collage picture representing the celebrity's name.

Grouchy Marxist
In 1960, "Nikita Khrushchev" supposedly banged his shoe on his rostrum before the UN General Assembly in response to a speech by the Philippine delegate. The shoe incident"has been shown to be false". But it made a good front page news story at the time. A photo of Nikita with a shoe photo-shopped into his right hand has come down to us as a reminder of those cold war days. Here I've taken that photo and put "Groucho Marx's" famous face on it with a Groucho-like (actually a "Henny Youngman" rip-off) comment in the voice bubble. There may be more truth to this version than the original.
